Afternoon! We own 3 properties in Manchester. Unfortunately all 3 have cladding issues and are at different stages of the funding approval process.
As many other cases, a big part of the issues won’t be covered by the government funding and therefore we are expected to receive bills for over 100k. My anxiety levels are going through the roof at the moment so I wanted to see if I could find some answers here. Please help.
My questions are:

  1. What are other investors with many properties with cladding issues doing in terms of financing and protecting themselves? Are there any possible solutions on the horizon?
  2. What happens if we default mortgage payments or can’t pay for remediations? Do we have any protection?
  3. How do I get in contact with other investors in the same situation?

Thank you in advance
