For the initial year's tenancy for my property I used an agent to set up the paperwork but decided from then on to manage the property and any subsequent renewal agreements, serving of notices and prescribed information. My tenants wish to stay and we have agreed a new 12 month term so I'm just setting up a new AST now. As my agent did all of the paperwork before I am not exactly sure what I need to serve this time around. For example, do I need to do a further 'Right to Rent' if the agent did it for their first AST? Do I need to register with the ICO? I'd be grateful for your advice.
