My tenant and I have agreed on not renewing the current contract (which they signed while I was a customer of Foxtons and I have just left Foxtons). I understand not renewing a current contract but staying at the property immediately puts the tenant and the landlord into a periodic tenancy. Is there a contract for this type of tenancy and if yes, is it available here on the NRLA platform? If there isn't a contract would a simple email/letter confirming the agreement (referring to the previously signed contract) signed by all parties (joint tenants and landlord) would suffice?
