A stellar year for your award-winning NRLA

It’s been a stellar year for the NRLA in terms of award wins, with the association, its departments and individuals picking up a total of 10 prestigious national awards in 2023.

The association’s first national event, The Landlord Conference 2022 picked up Silver in the Best Association Event category at the Conference and Events Awards in July this year and Bronze in the Best New Event category at the Association Excellence Awards in November.

The NRLA Training Academy was named Best Property Education Provider at two national events, the Property Reporter Awards – where it scooped the title for the second year running – and the Landlord Investment Show Awards, held just a few weeks ago.

The association itself scooped silver in the UK Association of the Year category at the Association Excellence Awards with membership of the association taking top spot in the Best Product for Landlord category at the Landlord Investment Show Awards.

Individuals were also singled out for praise, with Business Analyst Maria Scarbrough picking up Bronze in the Change Maker of the Year category of the UK National Contact Centre Awards and Magazine and Digital Editor, Sally Walmsley Highly Commended in the Editor of the Year category of the Memcom awards.

Last – but by no means least – NRLA Chief Executive Ben Beadle was recognised for his leadership and commitment to bringing about positive change for landlords and the sector, winning the Association Leadership Award at the Association Excellence Awards and named Industry Hero just weeks later at the Landlord Investment Show Awards.

Ben said: “These awards are testament to the hard work of everyone in the organisation in creating a truly member-first association that has been recognised as among the best in the country. We will continue to work hard on your behalf to support and represent members, while continuing to grow and develop an association we can be proud of.”
