NRLA Recognised Supplier Scheme Due Diligence Checklist
Companies House Check 
NRLA will refer to the application document submitted by the supplier and check that they are visible on Companies House.
Accreditation and FCA
NRLA will need to see evidence that the supplier is accredited, and if applicable a search on the FCA register. NRLA have the authority to deny an application if unsatisfied with the scheme the supplier is associated with.
Company Insurances
The supplier must submit evidence that they have the relevant insurances, for example public liability insurance.
Accessible Information
NRLA must be confident that the information that the supplier is displaying on their website is clear to customers, there are no hidden terms and contains the company registered address and number.
Service and/or product pricing must be clear.
Customer Service and Customer Reviews
NRLA must check online search engines and reviews to understand whether the service has generally Good or Bad reviews.
If there is a formal Complaints Process, NRLA will keep a copy.
Company Credit Checks
NRLA will complete a company credit check and retain on file a copy of the report.
Customer References
The supplier must obtain 2 customer references that we will contact.
Company Interview
An interview will be held between NRLA and the supplier to determine legitimacy and professionalism.
