Rent Smart Wales Survey

We are conducting a quick survey on the performance on Rent Smart Wales.

The NRLA are calling for more scrutiny on Rent Smart Wales. We are calling on landlords to let us know their views on how effectively Rent Smart Wales are operating, how successfully they are communicating with landlords and to what extent they are improving standards in the Private Rented Sector (PRS).

Please fill in our very short questionnaire, which should only take two minutes to fill in. Any information you provide us will be used in our campaigns with the Welsh Government and will be treated anonymously. This survey follows a previous quick poll where we asked landlords what they thought should be the priorities of the Senedd Local Government and Housing Committee.

The results included that:

• 63% of landlords thought greater scrutiny of RSW should be a priority for the committee.

• 74% believed RSW should be the single licensing authority – effectively abolishing local authority licensing.

• 64% said that rent controls would negatively impact the PRS.
