Watch: Common winter property hazards and how to avoid them

Winter is here, and the cold weather can cause a number of property-related issues.

Frozen or burst pipes, excess condensation, broken gutters and so on are common issues at this time of year. But did you know there are practical things landlords can do in order to avoid such hazards from occuring?

In this video, NRLA adviser James Harvie explains more about some of the common property hazards that can occur as a result of cold weather. He also explains how to avoid some hazards, and landlord responsibilties when it comes to carrying out an urgent repair.
