Regional Representative - Wales

The NRLA is actively seeking applications from local landlords and members for the position of NRLA Regional Representative for Wales.

This is an exciting time to join the largest Trade Association for Private Residential Landlords. The NRLA has approximately 2500 members in Wales and we are looking to increase our membership offering in the country. If you are a property professional with a passion for self-improvement, communication, and best practice we would love to hear from you.

Local Reps are a key member benefit and key part of the NRLA’s membership proposition. We are looking for enthusiastic property professionals who, as an NRLA Local Rep, will be responsible for organising and running local NRLA meetings and will be the focal point of NRLA member engagement and recruitment in the region. They are a local figurehead for the landlord community and provide ‘eyes and ears on the ground’ for the company in terms of both member feedback and local authority activity.

The Rep will be part of a 22 strong local Rep team and report to the NRLA Head of Regions. In addition to this support and that of the NRLA’s offices in London and Sale, they will specifically be able to call on the help and expertise of the NRLA’s Cardiff Office and the Board Member with responsibility for Wales. There will be regularly scheduled online team meetings involving these individuals to ensure that the Rep feels supported in their role and enable clear lines of communication.

This PAYE position will initially be on a Zero Hour contract, with the likelihood post pandemic for it to be upgraded to a part-time position. All local Reps work remotely, employed on an NRLA PAYE staff contract and work a flexible agreed number of hours per month. Reps fit these hours in around their livelihoods and existing commitments. Both daytime and evening hours will be required. The hourly rate is £20.03

The ability to speak Welsh would be advantageous but not essential. Applications from those living in the north of the country are particularly encouraged.
