Hi
I have a tenant who's tenancy started on the 22nd January 2010. She paid an increased first months rent in order to move subsequent rental payments to the first of each month.
The tenant has failed to pay the rent due in september and has now also missed the payment that was due on the 1st October. If I wish to serve with section 8/section 21 which date do I work with, either 22nd or 1st?
I was also contacted by Eon yesterday who told me the tenant has not paid any energy bills since she took on the tenancy. Do I have any liability to them?
