EICR re testing required?

Good morning.

I had electrical upgrades completed when refurbishing a property in 2017 including hard wired alarms and consumer unit etc). An EICR was issued together with a Building Regs Cert of Compliance. The EICR recommends a re-test peiod of no more than 10 years ..... is this EICR therefore still satisfactory until 2027 or should I be re-testing every 5 years which now seems to be the exopectation?
