Jeremy H(C?)unt has anounced the end of furnished holiday homes scheme.  I am sure this means we can no longer claim finances charges against income from short term lets but I wonder whether this applies to CGT?  Some of us have been making our properties short term lets for the final 3 years before sale to qualify for lower cgt.  How will this be affected?

Higher rate cgt down to 24% is good news...
