We purchase a ground floor flat which we plan to rent out. It is an old property, converted into 2 flats, so in essence a new build flat. Completely re-wired and brand new bolier put in (no other gas appliances). All electrical works signed off (with an Electrical Installation Certificate ICN18C) and all gas work too (with a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate).

Do these certificates mean that we don't require additonal 'Gas Safety Certificate' and electrical certificate 'EICR' certificates?

Of course we will need to get a new gas certificate every year and electrical every 5 years, but just want to check whether the certificates we do have tick all the boxes?
