My letting agent has been in contact to say that the tenant has reported that a light bulb in the ceiling and the one in the extractor fan need replacing.

The agent has informed the tenants that they are responsible for replacing the ceiling light but have asked our view on the one in the extractor fan. I’m not sure but I am a loathed to pay out the £60 plus vat that the agent will charge for sending out a handyman to fix.

What is the normal practice?
