I am wondering if I have inadvertently given the agent temporary ownership .  The AST states This Agreement i s made on the date specified below between the Land lord and the Tenant etc etc and is signed by the tenants and the Agents and states SIGNED BY THE LANDLORD/S (or the Landlord's Agent).  It is a complete shock to me if I have given them ownership.  If they are the owners why are they charging me for repairs etc? . Surely they cant have it both ways can they? Please can some one tell me if this is a rent to rent agreement?.  If it is surely they are supposed to tell me first arent they?.  I assumed that this is how all agents sign.
