please can anyone help... I seem to be going round in circles. The local authority has stopped paying the rent direct into our account, they are sending the rent cheques direct to the tenant. She has no bank account, so as directed by the local authority she signed the back of the cheques. Our business account is with the Lloydstsb, who do not accept LHA cheques made out the the tenant. We now have cheques that we cannot cash. The Lloyds say that that due to fraud they do not process any chequers. Does anyone know of a bank that will accept signed LHA cheques? We are prepared to bank elsewhere.

Please help we are still having to pay the mortgages out of an account that has no money going into it.

Thanks
