Hi, I rented a property to a couple who at six months split up one left on the day the six months AST was up without any notice apart from a phone call to say that she had left, leaving behind her partner who has not paid any rent. My question is would she still be liable for the rent as the remaining tenant is on the original joint AST agreement until he has been evicted.
