I have a tenant who has not paid his rent. I want to serve him with notice to quit. The tenancy started on 2/8/2008 and end on 1/3/2009.
Can I serve him notice to quit on 15/7/2009 and if what date should put on the notice? or do I have to wait until end of the month and then serve. Your help would apprreciated.

PS If I serve him on the 15/7/2009 notice should say on of before 1/9/2009 Please correct me.
