Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I have a tenant moving into one of our properties on the 10th September. I normally get new tenants to sign a Section21 when they move in. however we have just been to court in relate to serving a Section 21 on a another tenant. This new tenant is wanting to sign a 6 month lease from the 10th September for 6 months hence the 9th March 2012 so which Section 21 do i get her to sign, the 21 a or b?
