Section 21 notice date of service rules

If I am posting a Section 21 notice to a tenant via first class post tomorrow what date do I put as date of service to comply with court rules?

I have 2 to serve.

One is on a fixed term which ends 30th June and just dont want to renew agreement or let it go onto periodic.

Other one is currently a periodic agreement, the original tenancy agreement is 14th of the month which is the date they pay their rent.

Any help appreciated.
