I want to give my Tenant 2 months notice to leave.
The Tenancy agreement has been in place since 4th April 2006 and has carried on as a monthly contractual tenancy.
I served a Section 21 (1)(B) in 2006 - which was dated 23rd August 2006 which the Tenant signed.

Do I just write him a letter stating I want posession in 2 months time or do I have to serve a Court Form N5b or is that only if it seems the Tenant won't leave?

Secondly, as the Tenant is DSS the tenancy agreement stated the rent was weekly and as the Council pay 4 weeks in arrears, I am not sure what date the notice needs to be served on?
