Hi, I have a flat in Manchester on a 12 month tenancy from 2nd December 2009. Salford council were paying his housing benifit direct to me £420.00 pcm.
I recieved a phone call from salford council telling me he had been sent to prison for 6 months on 7th Jan and that they would stop benifit payments from that date.
The tenant still has the keys to the property, allthough i have a spare set and i think his belongings are still in the flat.

My question is, can i get my flat back, so i can re let it.

Regards,

Paul O'Connor
