I have issued notice to a tenant using a s21 notice. I believe I have issued this correctly but I have recieved a letter from the tenant's solicitor indicating that the tenant intends to challenge the 'Notice to Quit'and asking me to provide written reasons to support the notice.

My understanding is that I am not required to give supporting reasons under a section 21 notice - which I am sure you will confirm.

Please advise.

I can e mail copies of all documents and would appreciate your advice.
