Hello

We served a Section 8 notice to our Tenants and then waited the 14 days (plus 1 extra day) before applying for a court order, which we have now received a court date. The Tenant has now paid towards the rent arrears and is now below the 2 months as stipulated within the section 8. On the 2nd June the tenent will be back to 2 months in arrears again. Can I still contiue to go to court as planned on the section 8 that I issued originally?

The tenatnt has only paid 35% of their rent on time since the start of the tenancy.

We still wish possession of the propoerty as we wish to sell it and the feedback we have is the house being tenanted is putting people off.

Regards

Fraser
