Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I issued a Section 21 (1) (B) on the 7th February 2010 with the notice expiring after the 6th August 2010. Now just over a year on after the 6 month AST expired it's initial 6 months I wish to regain possesion of the property. Do I need to re-issue a Section 21 or can I move straight to court proceedings? Thank You.
