I am becoming very confused on the above subject. I have 2 rental properties one with 4 junior doctors in (including my eldest son) and another with 6 students in (including my youngest son). On reading the various articles on related web sites it would appear I can claim capital allowance for the communal areas yet when I went to see my accountant he was unaware of this.
Can you clarify the position please

regards
Nigel
