We have a property with a tenant on housing benefit. The benefit is now paid directly to the tenant and I am fed up with having to chase the tenant and the local authority are not interested in reverting back to the previous arrangement of payment to us. We have accumulated sufficient equity that we are likely to sell. Prior to appointing an agent and providing the tenant with two months notice is there anything I should do/pitfalls before starting the sales process.
Thanks
