Section 21, Joint tenancies, one or two

I have new tenants moving in.
They are signing a joint AST.
Do I get them both to sign the same Section 21 or do I get separate ones , just in case they split up and I need to make one or other leave? This may of course be the one that stays on in the flat after their partner has left.
