I recently read an article in the Landlord Law newsletter that said there can be a problem with issuing Sect 21 where the payment date is different to the start of the tenancy date.

The article implied that some solicitors were issuing notices with a formula for working out the final day of the tenancy as this had more chance of being accepted by a judge.

Can you shed any light on this please? And what is this formula
