I have a mid terraced house in north london, Nw2 with an Apex section in roof, all in original slate , due to the winds some have slipped off and age has caused nail fagtigue.

Thinking to relay existing slates at front and by new for back, 3 quotes in have varied enormiously , with very different imformation. one wants £300.00 for builder inspector from Council. Are there new building requirements , is this affect by Hips, ........ or engery eff. stuff. and does anyone have a trusted roofer? did go to NFR. varied lot. thanks.
