A tenant moved out of my property in April. I returned his deposit and that of his co-tenant and did ask for a deposit from the replacement. I was not able to provide a new lease as I could not use an old one and couldn't get the new one off the web site. I have now used a friend's computer and printed off a new lease.

Can I date the lease the day the new tenant moved in or do I have to date it today. If I have to date it today can I put the rent up during the initial 6 months?
