Former tenants who left a lot of mess and did not comply with No Smoking rules, as well as damage to furniiture and did not attend to meeting to agree on amount to be deducted from their bond deposited with the DPS. Left no forwarding addresses and did not respond to EMails. Cost was eventually claimed from DPS and paid, but months later the mother of one of the tenants has disputed the claim by email and letter threatening to go to court for recompense.

I have referred her to the DPS, whose guide lines and directions I followed, having had the Bond deposited with them through my letting agent. However, she still persists with her threat. I have spent a lot of time replying to her queries, and the lead tenant.
My question is "Can she now take me to court when I had my claim sworn before submitting it to DPS, when they followed all their procedures to contact the tenants, and then paid out on my claim"?
