When a tenancy ends for how long should one put up with the aftermath. Got keys back a day late, curtains/blinds were left at the cleaners --had got a handyman in for other work and informed tenant that he could put the blinds up, but they didnt return the curtains, merely said I should pick them up whenever ready and so on. A lot of my time is being taken up looking for tiles that match (broken by them) getting the bills sorted, as they didnt pay and now having to put up blinds etc. Can time be charged or should I get a handyman each time and bill against the deposit--gets very expensive for them and would that be allowed?
