Where do I stand if new tenants can produce receipts from the agent to show payment of their deposit, but the agent does not seem to have transferred the money to my account one month later, and is not contactable any more? Should I check the airports and notify Interpol?

Seriously, what duties do I have to the tenant regarding their deposit paid to the agent?

This is also triggering a cashflow problem for me, as I expected the deposit to be available quickly, so what recourse do I have to get my money from the agent? And quickly?

Thanks for your ideas and advice!
