I was just told by NPower that whenever a card meter is topped up they get a reading. I do not believe them as they do not get accurate readings and keep on trying to charge me for made up figures when the property is empty. Each time I complain they drop the bill a bit but each time the bill quotes 'actual reading' even when they change it.
Does anyone know if it is true that the meters read automatically? Has anyone else had trouble with made up meter readings?
