Re-Registering a Deposit given back from an Agent

Hello

Please can you advise me on an issue I have.

I am wanting to get some deposits that an Agent already holds for me for some of the properties in my prtfollio and put them into the Deposit Guard Scheme.

The Agent has informed me that I need to register them with Deposit Guard Scheme and prove evidence by means of the certificates which is not a problem.

However, some of these tenancies have been going for a few years.

My question is therfore - what date do I put down for me receiving the deposit? The date I am registering them or the date when the Agent originally registered them?
