Please advise. I have read your explanations about serving Sec.8. I have tenants on benefit and an assured tenancy (agent made a mistke in the lease). Would you (or anyone else) know whether Housing Benefits rehouse tenants if they are chucked out on arrears? If not mine are bound to fight--what grounds can they produce for a counterclaim? With the Councils knowledge I did repairs a few years ago--the tenant verbally would like all sorts of thigs done but I went with what the Council agreed. Can the tenants still find other reasons for a counterclai?
