I am trying to let out a property and have found prospective tenants who want to take the house. But they currently live in Barcelona. The plan is that the husband will stay in Barcelona where he has a job, and the wife will live in London with their children. Where do I stand on doing reference checks on them? Are tenants from overseas higher risk?
