The estate agent that i acquired my current tenant from 7 years ago did not give me the deposit and then disappeared. The tenant is slowly damaging furnishings in my flat and demanding replacements. I did not have an inventory for the fully furnished flat before the tenant moved in. If I ask the tenant to leave I cannot / will refuse to pay deposit which i did not receive in the first place. What are my rights in this situation....
