I have bought a shop with a flat above it.

After owning it for only 2 weeks I have been made aware about a 9 page report from the EHO which requires a schedule of works.

In the main the list looks fine. However, the is a section which states that I have to install a fire and heat fire dectection system and list model and make I need.

I researched this and it appears that there is no legal obligation to do so becuase its not a HMO accross 3 floors occupied by 5 or more people am I correct? Is the EHO trying it on?
