What experience have fellow landlords had in respect of Council Tax and Studio Flats. Question, when a bedsit which has had Council Tax paid by the landlord is converted to a Studio. a)Does the tenant then have to pay their own Council Tax on The Studio. b)Does the landlord then get a reduction in the Council Tax he has being paying on the building. c)Or does the landlord continue to pay Council Tax as normal and the tenant in The Studio just pays his rent and services i.e. Gas,Electric Telephone.
I really would value any thoughts, experiences or opinions.
Thank you.
