The RLA PR team has received a request from a BBC documentary producer. Contact them direct or call the RLA if you think you can help.

Do you live, work or rent property in the Tower Hamlets area of London? Mentorn Media is making a documentary for BBC2 about the impact of the ‘credit crunch’ on the communities that surround Canary Wharf.
We have chosen to focus on the area in part due to its importance as a financial centre, but also because it is such a recognisable place, with a fascinating history and strong identity. It’s not a business or current affairs piece; its aim is to tell the human stories behind the ‘crunch’.
We want to cover the variety of ways people have been affected and we’re especially keen to cover the impact on the housing and rental market.
Perhaps you are facing difficulties paying a mortgage as a result of job loss?
Perhaps the boost to the rental market has helped you as a landlord? Or perhaps the changes in property values has hit you?
We want to hear about your experiences of the recession. At first we would simply like to talk for research purposes and all conversations will be treated in the strictest confidence. Any decisions about filming can be taken at a later date and speaking to us does not commit you to taking part in the documentary.
