Hello RLA

can you tell me if i take a key deposit of £370

because if they loose a key it will cost more than that to change the locks . Does this still have to go in to a tenancy deposit scheme. as its not a room deposit

Alternatively they could pay 2 months rent in advance

would these be ok to do instead of a tenancy deposit scheme

also does all these rules come under a housing act.

I am not sure if you are aware

As all acts and statutes are not laws. They have to have the consent of the governed to be legit . If you dont have the consent then they are not enforceable. Do you know anything about this

Many thanks

regards mark
