Additional tenant moving into an HMO

I have an HMO with a licence for 7 persons. I let it on the 1st September to a group of 6 and have now been approached by a 7th person to fill the remaining room. How do I go about adding the new tenant to the existing tenancy, do I amend the joint tenancy or issue an amendment? Thanks for any help offered.
