Existing tenant signed new AST on 30 Jun to start new tenancy with tenancy deposit protection on 3 Aug. On 29 Jul same tenant gave notice to move out on 2 Sep. If we cannot find a tenant to take her room on 2 Sep, is she liable for the rent for the entire 6 months? When do we return the deposit?
