As a very part-time landlord, I had not realised that the contract period had lapsed on 6 August 2008. My tenant is continuing to pay rent. I need to get her to sign a new contract if she wants to continue in the flat. She has been an OK tenant and I am happy to continue with her. What advice do you have when I contact her about the new contract, apart from the fact that I need to be more careful about dates. I am worried that something could go wrong in this interim period....
