If have heard from the neighbours that the tenants in one of my properties have taken on a lodger with a child without my knowledge, furthermore one of the neighbours has told me that they have ruined the kitchen in the property and thrown carpets out in the back yard. The property had brand new carpets in it prior to letting.

I obviously want to check on my property so how much notice do I have to give them before I can go round and inspect it? The six months ast ended on the 8th of November so I intend to issue a section 21 once I inspect the property.

Any help sugestions would be very grateful.
