Hi,

I have a non-paying tenant who I am taking to court. I suspect he has someone else living there although whether he is recieving payment I do not know.

If I evict him though the courts, or he does a runner, what is the position if I don't get vacant possession because someone else seems to be there?

Do I then have to start again - but I wouldn't even know the persons name. Or do I continue to pursue the original tenant for rent until the new one leaves or signs a tenancy agreement?

Thanks,

David
