I am looking at buying a property which has an empty shop on the ground floor. it has a tenant on the first floor who has been a resident for 10 years.
He had signed a Shorthold Tenancy Agreement ( not assured) when he moved in, but has not signed any subsequent agreements. I have not got sight of this document currently.
What rights does he have to remain in the property ?
Thanks.
