We have for the last two years let out our property with a local branch of a national letting agency - having moved back to the area we are now wanting to manage this property ourselves. Having had a quick look at the Assured Shorthold tenancy it appears that the agency were deemed to be ' The landlords agent' and as such i undersatnd this to me mean that the tenancy agreeemnt is with us, and that this agreement should be able to role over. Also would i be correct in assuming that as the Deposit was taken pre April 07, and the agreement rolling on we wouldn't need to deposit it within one of teh Govt schemes - Any advice on this would be greatly appreciate

Gavin
