Hi,
I have a licensed HMO in Wandsworth. It has hard wired fire alarms but no control panel. My electrician believes that the rules are different where there is no control panel.

Can you tell me definitively how often the law requires that the fire alarms are checked by a qualified electrician and how often by a tenant or manager please?
a) with control panel
b) with no control panel

Are the rules specific to each borough?

Thanks a lot,
Carol
